Pre LCI headlight removal question

Ok so I have my 05 525i and today I changed the angel eye bulbs to led's looks great but is there an easier way to remove the head light I seemed to have damaged my bumper a little trying to get them out and back in

You're really supposed to remove the bumper in order to access removing the headlights. It can be done with the bumper in place, but you risk damaging it.

Nah! It's much simpler than that! You just need the right tools. I did mine in about half an hour. This gives you an idea:

if you remove the front most rubber hood seal (the one that's about 2-3ft long directly above the oval grills) and remove the top bump fastening bolts, you can flex the bumper enough to make removal of the headlamp assembly much easier. i can get mine in/out in just a few minutes now that i've done it a few times.

Yea that video makes it look super easy haha I think I'll be looking for some LCI headlights soon so that should be fun that would be 2008 and up for US cars right?
