Default Pre LCI 530i trans software update?

Hi there does anyone know how to update the trans software for pre LCI 530i ZF gearbox Alpina b5 , my e60 is m54b30 and zf 6hp19 trans , i want some quick shifts the shifting is very slow , hope some experts can guide me.

Are you looking for a tune or a software update. An update would not change shift times noticeably if any and that depends on what I-Level you are currently on. A tune would change your shift times and you would need XHP to perform that but I would proceed with caution.

FWIW, my shifting (same transmission in a 2006 530xiT) got quite a bit better after doing the Mechatonics refresh (tubes, gaskets and seals, and fluid change of course). Also I reset the fluid counter and adaptations and took a proper (or almost proper...) test drive to train the tranny to shift properly. It's been over a year, and it still shifts great, though not "quick" like my dual clutch Audi did (nor will it ever).
