power steering pump

how can u tell if power steering pump is getting faulty

Drop the drive belt and turn the PS pulley by hand. Pulley should turn smooth. If you hear any noises and/or doesn't spin freely, then plan to get a new one.

By the way, there's a filter inside the PS fluid reservoir. It's a good idea to replace the reservoir.
