I have recently done an upgrade on my AFS module and also changed the battery since the previous owner had a stupid 49A ACDelco battery installed on the car. (I have registered the battery with tool32 btw)

After upgrading the AFS, my steering has gone stiff and its like I dont have power steering at all. I restarted the steering column since there was no read from the angle sensor. Now I have a read from the steering column angle sensor but there is no read on the power steering Rotor and Motor.
All the values in AFS are set to -1440 degrees.
I have tried restarting the CPU, turning the steering lock to lock and initializing it through INPA but it tells me that there's an error and the result of initialization is N.i.O

I don't know where else to look at or what else to check. Since this happened right after I upgraded the module I dont suspect any mechanical problem since the fluid is full and clear and it was working perfectly fine for God's sake.

Does anyone have a similar experience or would think of anything that might be the problem? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know...Im building upper body strength here

Leave after a while traveling of heavy steering might AFS starts to operate.
If it still does not start
Make the initialization of the steering position by using the ISTA / D.
Do the setup of AFS
Here and make a reference video.
