Another US spec thing maybe
In the Us they all have them

I would recommendlooking again because it is harder to see than the picture makes it look - it is relly far up in the footwell on the passenger side.

I imagine you could add one if your car didn't come with one...

I don't have any power sockets in the rear either. Is that only for the US too?

Now there is a good question..i wasnt expecting any in the rear, but as a complete surprise mine came with two power sockets on the small panel between the front seats. Bonus and in the UK!!

Defo not got one in the passenger well though

Still seems to me it would be cheaper and easier to do all the cars the same.

When I got my car I didnt even think about the fact power sockets would be a cost option in the rear or trunk, I was Pi..ed when I didnt get them as this is just penny pinching by BMW UK who spec the cars for the UK market. A family car in an electronic age without power for the kids! Shame on BMW

I use my front one to keep my Razr charge adapter plugged in full time. Then I place the end with the jack into the little net on the side to be ready to plug in my cell for charging. Especially handy for use with bluetooth since it sucks power when using both rf signals in use.

It's silly that the US models get them, and others don't. Everyone needs those things, and deserves them!
