Default Potential CAS module issue

So I've been having an issue with my key. I could be standing right next to the car and when I push the lock/unlock/trunk open button, there's a 50/50 chance it won't work. I have to move the key or physically move to a different part of the car to finally lock or unlock the car. I've read elsewhere that the antenna booster may have corrosion on it and that I should remove the CAS module to clean it. Is this a good fix? Or is there a better fix? And where is the module located in car?

First do you have comfort access? If so try replacing the key battery. Also have you had tint installed recently?

I don't have comfort access, and I do have tint on my windows. Could the tint be the issue? I don't see how, is the key not radio?
