You will need winter tires depending on how much snow you get where you live. From your pics, it looks to be a decent amount. If you are an xi variant, then you can probably get away with all seasons. Matte black won't look good, as those wheels are not aggressive enough IMO.
Here we will have alot of snow. Those are my wintern tyres. I was just asking do I need to change better looking rims.. I know I have good rubbers on those rims and Id never change my RWD to AWD !! I have reaal nice looking 20inch lorenzos for summer..

Economy setup. Was able to find Style 48s with Dunlop Winter SP for $300 on Craigslist. There's about a season left on the tread.

Once the snow is plowed, the gravel can never really be cleared of ice/snow until a warm spell hits. I don't intend to drive my car in a snowstorm, but if I get caught out, these badboys should do fine.

19" bbs rs-gt reps with blizzaks. I know its not the most practical setup, but I had no problems even with all the heavy snow last year in CT.

Not much of a winter here. I just mounted up some Bridgestone Potenza RE 960 AS Pole Position

Why do you need winter tires here in N.VA. I think you could get away with all season tires. Yes, winter storms can very bad as it was last year, but I do: planned ahead, leave early that day from work, go later to work or work from home (if it possible), use second car (SUV) as car commute. Really in N.VA is about 3-5 storm per winter, about 3-5 days are really bad total. At least it has something to do with kids outside during those snow days
