I'm too embarrassed to show my winter setup, its so disappointing every time I put the winters on and think that they will be on for the next 6 months...

+1. It actually warmed up and I put the 19's back on. Maybe squeeze out a couple more weeks before I have to put the 17's on.... again. Even with spacers, it doesn't look right. However, the Pirelli Sottos are great in the snow and I'd rather be on the road than look good in a ditch.

Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60. 245/40/19 fronts, 275/35/19 rears. I got the rims from vortex tuning. Love the step lip.
So far so good. Haven't noticed a drop off in performance on the ice vs. the 245/40/18 WS-60 blizzaks I went with last year and I think that these look nicer. They definitely feel better on the dry roads.

You will need winter tires depending on how much snow you get where you live. From your pics, it looks to be a decent amount. If you are an xi variant, then you can probably get away with all seasons. Matte black won't look good, as those wheels are not aggressive enough IMO.

In my opinion everyone who gets snow should have winter tires xi or not xi. Sure if you have all wheel drive you can get going but xi doesn't help you stop any better then non-xi, winter tires in my opinion are more of a safety measure for braking.
