22.8 mpg since I bought it in August, '07 530i auto. 27 mile commute every day so a mix of light freeway and bumper to bumper traffic.

God if only you guys from america lived in the uk am sure you would own diesels, with your Mpg you would be spending a fortune on fuel

I've been driving a '10 328xi for the past 2 days, mostly highway, and I am surprised how crappy the mileage has been. My 550i's gas mileage is comparable if not better. And I sure do miss my car! I have a new-found appreciation for everything 5.

Dash computer says 9.8 l/100KM

That's 24 miles/US Gallon.

I do a lot of highway driving either to a clients office or the airport. I don't drive aggresivelly but I do drive fast.
