Well, I'll be waiting for my ED car for the next 4-6 weeks and I'm getting bored. Not painful yet, but if the weather gets better thats another story.
I noticed during my ED trip a slight vibration or shake in the tranny when in drive with low revs. Seemed to notice this when the car was cold. Any thoughts? No biggie, just something seemed odd. I was on the alert for any odd noise or vibration. The typical E60.com stuff, transmission slamming, door seals creaking, RFs roaring, V8 valve ticking, window seals whistling and etal. Overall, the car was rock solid as should be expected. Just awesome to be specific.
On a funny note, we noticed a constant rattle driving in Italy where the roads are comparatively more coarse. It appeared to be located right in the center dash. I thought OMFG, a unfixable rattle right off the bat in the middle of the dash. After bumming out for a couple hours, I discovered the rattle was caused by the small circular clip on the BMW key remote just vibrating away. I quickly tossed that MFer out the window and felt a whole lot better. I guess its only the begininng.

Don't know for sure. Generally, the engine was so smooth at idle it was almost undetectable.
Yup... dont know if you read the thread I had posted when the dealer over filled my engine with oil... vibration in the engine was only there at 1100rpms and NO WHERE ELSE.... it idled very very well.
