mountainboy, are you planning on leasing? Keeping the car long if purchasing?
If you aren't keeping the car out of warranty, you might not need to worry about how it was broken-in, etc.

If those are your circumstances plus the full warranty....there is nothing wrong with the demo option. Take it for a drive, test out those goodies you mention - if the finances are attractive -maybe for you it's the one.
