Yeah I know what you mean ... got the same warning before so I hacked my AE LCI ... I heard Patryk is a really great guy and done quite a lot of remote coding.

true, i'll have to live with it till i get a lcm at the mo i have no angel lights just main xenons as the idrive throws a parking error fault, so im coping with that for now and see what happens in the near future, i will need someone to code it for me at some point....... i heard of a few names but not sure how good their work is..

you say u had the same warning and hacked ur AE???? what did u do??? i would like to temporary do this so i can at least drive around with them, untill i get the LCM + coding sorted,

Since I gotta break it down for you I was just saying that I WILL JUST LEAVE my vehicle the way it is. Upon hearing stories like that where shit is frying, I will take a rain check on any head light up grades. These cars are way to complicated, and costly for me to take chances on having BRIGHTER lights. I'm just saying

I don't think its possible to burn anything by changing out the angel eye bulbs.

If OP had follow the instructions on the retrofit pdf he wouldnt be in this situation. Its not as hard as you guys make out to be. This is a documented OEM retrofit, it does not get any easier than this when it come to retrofiting.
