Hey guys just wanted to say thanks for the comments on this thread..... I was one of the people waiting for 275/30/19 Continental DWS to come in off of back order.... I decided to go for the 285/30/19 based on the comments I read on this thread. Thanks again.

My Ride: 2007 550i, Mystic Blue over Auburn, 6-Manual, Sports, Premium, Cold Weather, Logic 7, Nav, Sirius, MTec Front & Sides with M5 rear apron, VIS Penta carbon fiber vented hood, OEM M166s, (or Style 101M with winter 19 Blizzaks), BMW Blue Calipers, Custom Quad Exhaust and M5 side grills, trunk finisher and spoiler. Rogue Octane SSK/WSR and Zeckhausen CDV, BMW illuminated shift knob, Delivered 4/26/06 - Ordered 3/18/06 from Otto's (the Best) BMW Dealership.
My front tires on OEM166s are 245/40-19 and they ALWAYS rub on bump steering. Must switch to 245/35. The rears are 285/30-19 andthey NEVER rub.
Has anybody tried 245/35/19 F and 275/35/19 R?
I know some M3s that are running that setup, they look badass.
Cuz 275/30 in the back doesn't really fill up e60's bigger fender arch in the rear as oppose to the front arch.

Yes I dont know why they rec 275/30/19-when 285/30/19 is EXACTLY the same total diameter as 245/35/19 on the front. Providing its on a 9.5 inch wheel- It gives the rear a tad beefier look compared with having a less beefy than front look with the 275's.
A perfect set is the conti dws 245/35 and 285/30 in 19 inches-just the right amount of tire both front and rear

Are these all seasons?? I'm not a fan of Continentals and they seem to have less grip than the other good tires. If your in Chicago, get a set of winter tires and save your nice rims for the better weather.
In another car, I've ripped three Contis and I'll never buy the brand again. 245/40/18s In reading M3 reviews, the Contis suck compared to PS2s.
Gents,
I have '04 545I with Sport Package.
I recently bought OEM M6 Style 167 wheels and decided to go with 245/35-19 and 285/30-19.
But the rear ones caused rubbing so I had to replace them with 275/30-19.
