tell ya a secret if i makes u feel any better, i work at bosch and have worked on developing the bcm for the Eclass, its still failing many of the mechanical endurance tests unlike the other products

The other day I drove my father's E200 (2006). I got scared out of my mind that thing felt like a boat.
The cornering was atrocious, I wouldn't confidently push that car. I then test drove an E39 525, good Lawd that was impressive the E39 felt eager to move, the cornering was impressive...oh the twisties.
As of now I'm on a look out for a used E60 545i.
I test drove one last month in Triptronic guise,...heaven!!!

MB e class < e60... Unless you consider interior finish, and then e60 starts looking weak... exterior and performance way kills the E. Now, talking about some of the other MB's, and then there is room for some serious debate but c'mon, e series is weak.

I said appearance only. I don't think anyone could argue that a jag is better engineered then any luxury car on the market. But the Britts do know how to make things luxurious.
