I went with SpaceGray and black interior. I expect my car to arrive in NYC on 11/5/2007
Hey Amigo525 -- We're on the same boat! My new 535xi is also on the Integrity due into NY on 11/5. Platinum Gray with Black interior. I'm in East Fishkill, so we'll have to take a picture of the two cars side by side for posting for a "true" comparison!

So why did they buy your first car back?

I've modified the potential order to include the anthracite headliner. Thanks for the info, I'm looking at getting the following:
2008 535xi, PG, dark poplar wood trim, black leather, sport pkg, auto, pdc, night vision, hud, nav, cold weather pkg, premium pkg, heated rear seats, split folding read seats, rear sun shades, logic7, ipod, and hd radio, and anthracite headliner.

The dealership warned me with the hud it's rougly 3k to replace the windshield. Ouch!
Long story but I just added a new post regarding the problems I had. I would hold off on the night vision, heated rear seats and definately get the comfort access.. Comfort access is a must.....

Good Luck and I'm glad you enjoyed the photos.

Rick...

I am very pleased with Space Gray. Everybody has liked the Creme Beige interior with it as well. It does hide the dirt well.platinum gray or space gray?-nd2_9045s.jpg

I was going to order Space Grey initially, but after seeing both colors in person, went with Platinum Grey. I went with a black leather interior and dark bamboo trim (which is stained an almost-black dark espresso shade). I kept the standard grey headliner so the entire interior would not be too dark. So far I've been very happy with my choice - the platinum grey sparkles and takes on a slight bluish hue under the sun, which I like. Can't go wrong with either color though.

Yep, looking at PG in the sun is what made me ask the question. I was also considering dark bamboo trim but after seeing it in person I was not impressed. So do you like having the standard gray headliner? Can you post any interior picks?

Thanks Rick, bummer to hear about all the fuel pump problems.

I'm on the fence with the night vision. I commute about 30+ miles each way to work and am up and driving well before sunrise most of the year. I figured the night vision would be a neat feature since the highway I drive isn't lit and has lots of critters, deer, coyotes, etc. I didn't think comfort access was worth it, 1k for not having to push the button to open the door or insert the key before hitting the start / stop button. Not really a "must have" in my book. The heated front and rear seats are "must have" in the northwest. There is nothing fun about getting in a cold car and sitting on cold leather seats in the winter! Thanks for the feedback.

I wouldn't go to that dealer. While it is a different windshield it doesn't cost that to replace it. Not even close.

I'm trying to decide between platinum gray or space gray for a '08 535xi. The space gray looks somewhat dull to me, but it's the color I originally thought I wanted. After seeing the darker platinum gray on a demo I'm torn. Anyone else have this problem?
I wanted to buy the platinum gray, but once I have seen the space gray E60 at night in the city and it looked fantastic with all the play of light on it so i completely changed my mind. To me the space gray looks more sporty and titanum gray looks more luxury.

I have maked the same changing of the colour ( after seeing both of them in the production line by BMW in Dingolfing.

I have combined this with leather natural brwon = absolutly perfect.

Bye
