I bet you guys are still on the missionary position.

I have also wondered what a pinstripe would do for the E60. If they are designed and implemented well they dont look tacky, some cars they suit, others they don't. They are only vinyl and if it doesn't look right it can be moved or changed.

Years ago I was a student in the motor industry and the stylists used to regularly borrow cars to try out graphics, stripes and sometimes much worse!

Dare to be different.

Love the pics in your gallery, especially the on next to the helicopter.

In the late 80s, I had a Toyota FX-16 and I went wild on the pinstriping. Not just straight lines but I had those spikes up and down so my car looked like a moving EKG graph. I had it on the car body as well as on the windows. NOT KIDDING. I think everyone probably laughed when they saw my car. I thought it was COOL! I'm embarrassed now talking about it but oh well, it was a phase.

Anyway, like the others who've replied....I think pinstriping will deter from the sensual lines of the E60. Then again, pinstriping might make a comeback and we'll all look back one day thinking our bare cars are ugly. haha

The interior is actually black with the black anthracite trim...or whatever the hell they're calling it.

Pinstripes would not be the way to go with this beauty. Congrats on your new ride.

FWIW, I don't think pinstripes would go with the lines and flame surfacing of the E60.
