The difference in overall diameter of wheel+tire is almost the same with any wheel! Or it should be at least...
Assuming that you're using the recommended tire sizes.

edit:
For example;
245/45R17 - 25.68 in (overall diameter)
225/50R17 - 25.85 in
245/40R18 - 25.71 in
245/35R19 - 25.75 in

I think the ride height stays the same if you have 19's with lower profile tires or you have 17's with stock tires, the overall diameter should be the same. The wheel gap is just more pronounced with the lower profile, the thicker the tires are, the gap would look smaller.
