Nice car!!

Just out of curiosity, why are many UK E60s missing advanced air-con and xenons?

Advanced aircon and Xenons are both options. Adv. A/c is only std on 535d and 545i. Xenons are an option on all E60's

Adv a/c - ?605 ($1,150)
Xenons - ?685 ($1,300)

Oh yeah that......not something we really need in the UK......it's a sun blind.........I was hoping by putting it up we might get a bit more of it!!! (wishful thinking).

Thanks Merv. I'm not usually a fan of black leather....I'd have preferred Auburn. However, the Alu cube interior really helps to add a bit of lightness to the interior. And I'm sure it would have looked ugly if paired with Auburn.
Also with two little mites, I'm hoping the black carpets/anthracite headlining and black leather will be a little easier to maintain............"now where did I put that leather cleaner!"

Do you put all 3 in the back ? How do you get on. It's a real pain that BMW do not allow a manual airbag pass...........one of the things I miss about my V6 Alfa......and the engine sound........and the stick shift......BUT NOT THE Depreciation or the crap fuel economy!!!

(A wise man once said Your heart says Alfa, but your mind tells you BMW 5 Series!)

Yes I have put them all in the back but what a pain in the ass it is with 3 x booster seats. The seat belt points are sited for 2 x fat people. If you opt for the folding seats they're more evenly spaced. Fortunatley one of my older boys can sit in the middle without a booster seat which makes it easier.

A friend of mine also had the lift like depreciation with his Alfa.

I know theres nothing like the sound of 6 cyl petrol but the straight 6 diesel still sounds great at speed.
