Here are a few quick pictures before I spend the rest of the day driving! What a great car, very happy I upgraded from my 545...
Good to see you are avoiding scuffing the 172Ms using the "taxi to the curb" method.
Better than scuffing one like I did after just 3 days. LOL.
Regards,

Thanks guys, what a great car! Will follow up in a few days after logging a few more miles though I'm not sure I can top Rudy's comments. While I loved my 545, now I know what an improvement the sports package is to an already great car. Still trying to figure out the bluetooth thing. Got it paired at the dealership no problem but today it is touch and go. It will pair then lose the connection. And even when it does pair, it is having trouble downloading my phone list. Again, it loaded fine yesterday so it must ne operator error of some sort!
Edit: And I knw what you're thinking, what the hell are you doing on-line and not driving? Had to come home to watch my LSU Tigers battle Alabama...

And for other LCI owner with Comfort Access. Is there a way to shut off the radio when leaving the car other than locking? You hit the Start/Stop button and the car stops but the radio keeps playing. If you hit the butto again, the car re-starts. Radio does stop when you lock the car but I find it a little awkward to open the door and step out with the radio cranking until I hit the lock button. As an aside, I don't find the LCI version of the Logic 7 that bad. Sounds pretty close to the prior version in my 545, but then I am no audiophile...

I agree with the comment on Logic 7. As compared to an '06 650i its a bit "warmer" tone but still quite good.

With CA, unfortunately, exiting the car is a multi step process for a complete shutdown. With the foot on the brake, put the car in park, pull the brake handle, shut off the car, then the trick is to take your foot off the brake and press the "start/stop" button again. That turns off the radio and put "BMW" on the iDrive display. It goes out when the door is opened.
