picked up a set of m6 calipers and rotors good price?

i picked up a set of 4 calipers and rotors with pads and lines used from an 07 m6. had 15k on it. i only paid 1000.00 shipped to my door. was this a good price? they should fit my 04 545i correct?

Unless your tracking your car do these really make any difference? I wonder how much shorter stopping distances are with them vs standard. Can't nec. compare the rags for M5 vs 545 because tire contact patch makes a difference. Then I guess I wonder if that 2-3 feet shorter stopping distance (if it is that much) is worth the money. I don't see the value. Why are you guys adding?

...because modding is an addiction.. for me at least.. I'd get Brembos if I had the money just because they look badass...haha!
