Wait all solved? Does that mean that there was a recall and all of the HFFP's were replaced with non-defective units? That would be my definition of "solved". Just replacing faulty HFFP with another fault HFFP is not the solution (which is what I have heard has been going on).
My 535I is in the shop today to look at my engine malfunction, reduce power warning light again. I recent got my HPFP replace about a month ago and the light came on yesterday but went away. But when it come out, the car seem to run ok beside the warning light. I'll posted the updated on my car when the dealer found out what the problem this time. I really miss my car, hopefully not in there too long. I got a loaner car and they hook me up with a 335I, but not the same as my 535I.

Don't worry about the HPFP issue. I just had mine replaced and it is comforting to know the replacement is warranted for 10 years. I think the 535 is better than the 550, especially when you get 30MPG on the road, but have the power when you need it. You paid less than the residual on my car when I have to turn it in 2 years from now, and it's a zero down lease with $51K cap cost! I have NAV, Sport, Paddles, CWP, PDC and Ipod. I should be able to buy this thing for far less than the residual then. Enjoy your ride.

^Whats comforting? Knowing that your faulty fuel pump was replaced with another faulty fuel pump and could lead to you being stranded on the road. This band-aide fix by BMW is inappropriate, I do not care if it is a 200k 20 year warranty, the fuel pump needs to be redesigned for quality and reliability.

I guess this makes the decision between 535 and 550i a lot easier for me. Dealing with FP's may be worth it for the TT V8 with 400 hp/450 tq but not for the TT 6.
