Welcome!

Is that Vegas in the background?
Yeah, it is the new Silverado Ranch / I-15 Interchange. I was doing some work in the area and just stopped to get a couple of shots. Obviously not the best background, I will try and get some better shots, both exterior and interior.

My impressions after two weeks are kind of mixed. It is a great car and fun to drive. I am still on the fence about the ventilated seats, but I love the upgraded leather and comfort seats! I also love HUD, the iPod integration and the six dedicated buttons under the CD player. Also having non-run flats provides a softer ride, but it is still tight as hell. I love running her in the fake manual, but when the wife and kids are in the car, it is strictly in D. The wife thinks it is to jerky in DS or manual, and I want to keep her happy. But coming from a 645CiC, I do miss being able to drop the top and let her rip.

As for power, this one has plenty. We were driving home last night and an older model rag-top jeep cut me off and then acted like it wanted to play. I was tempted to just blast away, but I had my wife and three kids in the car, so I just let him go and think he was king of the world. However, the other day I was alone on the freeway and I was following one of those beefed-up Dodge Magnum station wagons. Now that thing could move. I would have liked to try and pass him, but there was too much traffic. When we both ended up exiting at the same place, I told him that his car could move, but I think he was more impressed because he said, "Shit, I was moving but you were stuck right on my ass."

It took me a couple of weeks, and the background is weak, but here are a couple of shots of my new car.
Nice pics! Thanks!

I had the dealer do it along with the wheels before I picked it up. I think they are 35% all around. Works for me. And, if I take the kids somewhere during the day, I also put up the mesh screen on the back window. I picked it up on July 17th and even though it is black inside, I have not found it to be that bad. I mean I live in Vegas and I don't care what you drive during the summer, it gets frigging hot.

I believe his m-technic kit came as a package from the factory when he ordered it. Prior to the '08 models, the m-tech kit was available as an aftermarket accessory here in the U.S. But for the '08 models, you can order it as part of a package. BTW, the setup is real nice. It kinda got that "stealth" look to it.

Thanks, and your right. The m-kit comes standard on the 550i with the sport package.
