Have a strange problem with my 2008 E60 550i. At least once a day with no rhyme or reason the display will pop up with the 6 programable buttons along the bottom of the screen and randomly highlight different ones as if I was doing a soft touch on the corresponding button on the radio. Of course my hand is no where near the radio when this happens.

Has anyone ever seen this or do I have a ghost I the car? Thanks!

Yep, had the same thing with mine. Never knew what it was or what caused it though. Didnt effect anything, but was weird.

 

I had a similar issue. Luckily I was under warranty when it happened, and I think they had to replace the strip of buttons. You know, because replacing is "always" the answer at the stealership.
