My dealer is recommending these (non-rf) tires for my as-yet-undelivered 530. I wanted Blizzak LM22s (which I had on my G35 previously to excellent effect), Alpin PA2s, or Dunlop M3s. All three look good on Tiretrack - who don't seem to list these Sottozeros. Googling these tires yields little as well. I definately need snows. Any thoughts on this tire?

The sottozeros are new, so you may not find much on it yet. I believe Lamborghini recommends it for owners who want snows on their Gallardo.. I am using the "old" pirelli w240 snowsports and they're not that great in snow..quite good in the dry.

I have read that the Sottzero in 225/50-17 are among the top ones this year in Europe but also the Dunlop 3D (new) & Conti 810S are quite good. I plan on putting on the Sottozero in December.

I have the Pirelli Winter Sottozero w210 225/50-17. There is no snow yet so I have not fully tested the tyres yet, but so far they are really fantastic. The car is much smoother and silent and you have good grip in the curves. In rain and on ice they are the best tyres I have tested so far.
