YESSSS, I'm victorious! After weeks and weeks of negotiating, my dealer is finally replacing my panels!
In the last 2 months I was at my dealership 3 times for other warranty stuff, and today finally, the fourth time, the agreed to replace the panels. I asked every single time I was there, and now they are finally replacing it. I am sooo happy, I am getting a new interior! (More or less).
Where in FL did you go? I have the same issue on 2 panels in my car and I want them replaced too.

Unfortunately, I live all the way down here in Bonita Springs, SW Florida. That's about 4-5 hours away. Since it took me so many tries, I don't think you would get them replaced right away, you would have to drive down here a bunch of times and get other thing replaced, maybe buy some things and build up your ''status''. The sales people have to be familiar with you.

my 05 BMW which has 34,000 miles that I bought CPO'd in March has had to have the following plastic pieces replaced under warranty due to peeling:
2 pwr window surrounds
2 door pulls ( the piece behind the wood)
surrounding plastic around pwr seat controls passenger side
trim piece around a/c controls
2 trim pieces on steering wheel.
Fortunately the car is still under bumper to bumper warranty-BMW needs to extend the warranty on these faulty trim pieces.

I find it very sad that a 50,000 dollar vehicle does this.
I have a 2003 Ford Ranger that I have had for 5 years-no peeling plastics
My partner's 2006 Lexus IS 250 -no peeling plastics.

I have had 2 BMWs prior to this one and neither of them did it.
Please call customer relations and complain.

I called after reading your post. One of the reps said they were unaware of the problem, and have not had any complaints.
