Greetings and Salutations.

This is my initial post as I just purchsed a 2007 CPO 530i last week. I traded in an E38 7 series and am now selling the E36 328i. I have a Peake reset tool but I assume this is not compatible with the E60. Is that correct? If so, the old tool can be a free toss in to the guy buying the 3.

Thanks in advance for your expertise.

Joe

I actually called them up yesterday to see if they had a airbag reset tool for the E60. No luck...
I doubt it'll work but call them up and find out 1-800-231-6861.

Joe.. Bavarian auto sport has an adaptor that will hook to your tool that can then read codes and reset them...but will not reset oil and service light. I have instructions how to do that using the trip meter.....send me an e-mail and I will give you what I got. A new tool that does everything on the e60 is tool R5/FCX3-16 $140 at Bimmerzone.com
