Some guy in the parking lot decided to take out my mirror and not leave his information. The dealer said I need to replace the entire assembly (not just the mirror and the plastic piece on the back). Any Ideas or thoughts? Anyone know where a junkyard in Dallas,TX is that might have this part?

Thanks

What part is missing?
The mirror glass or the entire housing? If the mirror glass was missing and connector is still intact, only mirror glass is needed.

The following post should help you out if you choose to change the mirror parts yourself:

I had the same issue wtih my M5 mirror. I ordered a new plastic housing that is getting painted right now. THe body shop tells me they might have to take the whole door apart to replace the mirror housing. Have you fixed yours yet?
