Passenger side mirror works intermittently

My Ride: 2008 528i
Hey all,
When I put my car in reverse, sometimes my passenger side mirror goes down and sometimes it stays put. Anyone had this happen to them? I don't want to take it to the dealership for such a minor thing.

The dipping feature of the outside passenger mirror is activated by the sliding switch on the driver door. Maybe you're sliding it to the position that deactivates that feature. If you don't have an owner's manual you can download it at the Information section of this forum.
