The passenger side mirror in my car has a habit of adjusting slightly toward the interior of the car every week or so, on its own. I can't figure out what triggers this. It's more of a minor nuisance than anything else, but I'm curious whether any others have experienced this issue.
My dealer service shop of course cannot replicate this problem, because it's impossible to predict when it happens.
Would appreciate any insights. Thanks in advance.

I had the same issue with mine last year and i heard bmw finally got service bulleton on that and they finally replaced mine. I really dont think it is a hardware issue as now i have the same issue but now my car is out of warranty. Good luck

Thanks for the replies, guys. I do use the same key for my car each time. I will check with my SA as to the service bulletin. Thanks for the heads up.

deactivate the "Last seat position" option via iDrive, worked for me when I had my 08 535i
another possible option is a software update...

Thanks, GENE. I'll try this out tomorrow. Mine 550 is a MY2010, so different iDrive interface, but the thread you referenced is clear about what function to disable.

Deactivating the 'Last Seat Position' worked for my 08 535i when it developed the dreaded 'mirror creep'.
