So it looks like the 20-way comfort seats offer two memory positions for the passenger seat, too. That is wild... how many cars offer that feature? Seems kind of pointless but I guess if you and your wife always swap driving on long trips you would each have your own passenger seat settings as well. Anyone ever actually use it?

Yeah it's a great bonus... I use it all the time when the wife has a drive. The trouble is my Daughter has now found the memory buttons, and my settings are now erased...

when i had my 20 way M5 seats retro fitted into my car, they were wired up wrongly at first...when i adjusted my drivers seat..the passenger seat moved in tandem..quite funny untill we found out that the same happened when my girlfriend moved her seat and squashed me against the steering wheel.
all ok now.
all ok now.

I use it all the time. When my son rides there, he raises the seat way up puts it way back...he stores it in memory #1. When he is not riding, I put the seat back to a "normal" position...so when somebody sits there, the seat is in a pretty normal position and people in the back don't get cramped...this is memory positon #2.

I use it all the time, but I get REALLY pissed off when someone changes my presets. It takes me about 30 minutes to find that sweet spot where I can see everything without even turning my head. (Except for overtaking). I through a fit when someone changes my seat settings
EDIT: I was talking about the driver seat, sorry misread. I don't know about the passenger seat.

I have set the passenger seat to look identical to the drivers seat and saved it to memory 2. When friends get in and change the seats...it doesn't bother me as much...lol. I like the look of the interior when both seats are in the same position...the presets make it easier to keep that look.
