2006 530i

Passenger seat while driving stopped operating this PM and then started operating again later this eve. Anything with iDrive operation or some sequence of events I may have initiated that may have caused this.

I stopped car to try. Shut off engine. Still had problem. Tried with door open, closed, and with engine on again with door open and closed. No help until it started working again about two hours later.

Software?

Anyone else have this problem?

This is a first one for me. Even when my I-drive was hanging I could still operate my electrical seat...

Maybe a loose wire or something, so the seat has no power???
