My passenger restraint system warning has come on four times in the past year. A couple of times the computer showed that it was the result of a nano-second break in the current. However, the third time they wound up replacing the passenger seat pad. Now I'm having warning number four. Has anyone else had this recurring problem?

I just got it, but I think your case is a little different than mine. When I took it in to the dealer they said that the sensor in the seat got smashed so they'll have to replace it. So unless you keep smashing your sensors I don't know what to tell ya.

Can also happen from a ground fault at the belt buckle.

I brought my car to the dealer to get this fixed as well.

I'll be picking up my car tomorrow so I'll now then what the issue was.

Evidently there is a small battery associated with the restraint system. I had a Pass restrain warning and they had to replace that battery.

I just got that warning message tonight. I'm calling the dealer tomorrow.
