a good easy solution? I've heard carbflo mentioned on this board - anyone know where to buy this stuff online?
I had major squeeks and creaks coming form the rear deck area that have bee mostly fixed by the dealer. They installed foam inserts and its helped. However, now the passenger doors are creaking.

Hi there,
My dealer put some kind of lubricant on the doors 2 weeks ago, I guess it was carbflo but after 2 weeks of rain and a couple of car washes the lubricant got washed away. The squeaks returned...
Brought my car again yesterday and they put some anti-friction tape around the door frames. Car is silent now, hope it stays that way.
I used to have the E39 and it had the squeaks as well, solution was anti-friction tape as well.
Dealer tells me that they will only use anti-friction tape if the lubricant doesn't work.
Hope you get it fixed!
Damn creaking arm chairs...

Mine got no tape, perhaps the dealer is just trying if the anti-friction can be avoided as it could cause some wind noise when travelling. So far so good, no creak and silent when going through the undulating brick roads. I hope it lasts longer that 2 weeks.
