parked car ventilation
#1
So I personally do not find my parked car ventilation blows out very cold air for more than a minute. I initially thought it would be great because I take my dog everywhere with me but turns out after 5 mins the air is not even cool.
Is it drawing on the battey to run the a/c or what air is actually blowing out and how is it cooled.
Also what is the talk of autofan set? why and in what case would you automatically set your fans to come on or off?

I brought this up before in a prior thread. If you're talking about the 30 minute timer when you leave the car with the keys, it doesn't use the AC to cool the car. All it's doing is running the fan to circulate air. On hot days, the air is always hotter inside the car than outside. So, pulling in fresh air cools the car down. Not sure I would rely on this to keep your dog cool. If my statement has nothing to do with your question - ignore it

Parked Car Ventilation just runs the fan, not the condensation (A/C).
The Automatic Ventilation is useful when you know the time you are returning to a hot parked car, such as when leaving the office or returning to the car after lunch.

It's also useful to run after you've stopped your car with the A/C on. Running the fan will help to evaporate any condensation on the A/C unit, which if left to itself, will grow mold and stink. Drying the A/C unit with the parked car ventilation helps to prevent the mold from growing.
I use mine all of the time!
YMMV,
