Absolutely essential.
In the UK for sure... Front & Rear PDC is an absolute must for a car of this size.

PDC is a worthwhile option and I encourage you to get it. Plus its another thing on the E60 to amuse and astound your friends with the first time they see it.

Agree - The PDC is worth it for the pictogram display alone.

One word of warning - once you get used to driving with it , you need to be very careful when you jump into a car without it

it's a must have...no question about it..The last thing you want to do is not get it and up with regret. That's what happened with me when I jumped to take one of the first 2005 545's to come in the U.S. and didn't wait for one with NAV...

PDC. A Must Have.
Many people on this forum regret not ordering it after they get their E60s.

Don't know if I'd rank it as a must have, I'd say it really depends on your needs. I NEVER have to parallel park my car, in fact as I think about it, I actually have never done it in my E60. So needless to say, I don't regret not getting it. That being said, those who have it and live in more urban environments love it. Just want you to know that there are some of us out there that manage to live without it.

Yes, it is quite useful. In fact I going to put an aftermarket version on my truck.
