got out of the car for 2 minutes (left all 4 windows and the sunroof down). locked it and when i came back to it the remote wouldnt work. when i reached in the car through the open window to use the central locking button it wouldnt work and alarm wouldnt go off either. the door handle didnt pop the door open either.

anyway, worked fine about 1 minute later after i called a tow truck

does anyone have any similar experience and if so what was/is the cause and should i expect the pos to do it again?

 

your battery died or connector of the battery became loose or detatched ?

 

E60 is so complicated so anything is possible.
