I have lots of little chips and crap on my radiator grill or whatever it is that is right behind the 2 front grilles. It is black but with bugs and chips it is all specaled with stuff.

I wanted to spray paint it matte black but was not sure if paint could get into that thing-not sure if it is possible. Can I just spray paint it matte black without a problem?

No need for sanding or priming, just make sure the surface is clean.

right but getting paint spray in the grille itself is not bad? or what is the grill for-I am confused? Is it just a way for air to get in and the radiator pipes run beside that? i do not want to spray it and get paint into the radiator and damage it?

Are you serious!!! take the grills out or put paper behind them, you cannot wreck the radiator by having spray on them, but it will look shite!!! sorry if that sounds harse but think about it!!!

WTF, idiot, of course you can, you can remove the whole front end or any other part if you wish!!! ive stripped more complicated cars than a 5 series, and i mean completly!!! now what are you really asking?

PS its the radiator that you are talking about, you can spray that also, but it wont make any difference!!!!
