Painting the interior trim?

My Ride: 2007 530 XI, 19 VMR VB3, matte grills, RPI scoop, MTEC V2 Angel Eyes
In my own opinion, I feel "wood interior" trim is very tacky!!! even if it was real wood, I dont think it looks good. I think I would go with a black matte. How hard is it to take out the pieces for paint process?
