Hi Everyone, where can I find the paint code for my 2010 550i? I checked around under the hood and inside the door, but can't find it. Trying not to call the service dept and using my VIN unless I have to. Any help would be appreciated.

Mine was under the hood around the passenger side shock tower.

 

You can also check along the passenger side wall under the hood.

 

Thanks..do you recall if this was easily visible? Or do I need to crawl in the hood? During my inspection, nothing jumped out at me.

 

Mine was very easy to spot. Right when you open the hood on the passenger side.
