P0135 headache
Bought a used car a few months back and seeming to be a money pitt. I have a transmission leak and about to change front bumper to mtec. But recently i got a P0135 code and P2243. I believe P0135 is a o2 heater, and could be caused by a blown fuse? not sure, id like to give take a look before handing it over to the stealer if i cant fix it. Does anyone know where to find the fuse for this issue? (2008 528xi sedan)(build april 2007 i believe)

both are oxygen sensor codes. sounds like you might have a failed oxygen sensor. take your car to a qualified BMW independent. the heater circuit is imbedded in the oxygen sensor. the probe is heated so that it comes online faster rather than waiting for exhaust gas to get it heated to proper working temperature. its likely not a fuse issue.

Thanks for the reply, i can do most of the work on my car i.e brake change, oil change, etc. I was going to do a DIY, would it be too difficult ? i have 104000 miles on the car, so its likely for the o2 to have failed and not fuse after my research. It bank 1 sensor 1, what part do i need? and where can i find it cheap? also is there any TIS i can follow? (i have a 2008 528xi with N52K)
