During heavy commute traffic last night my wife was driving to see our daughter when a Grey Honda Civic slammed into the rear end of our baby.
Both stopped in the center divider, wife calls me in a panic when the Civic took off. You don't mess with my wife.....so she took off after them going across 5 lanes of traffic all the while she was giving me a second by second update while attempting to get the license plate.
Bottom line....wife is fine, culprit will get his as the plate/car/color was a match for a person in Vallejo, however our baby is damaged.
Oh well....in the scheme of things it could have been much worse.

Yowza. She does sound kind of feisty! Good work. Glad your wife's fine. A little plastic bumper work and a new exhaust system and you'll be fine.

I've only been in one accident many many years ago (not my fault). Since I bought this car, every day I find myself so close to get hit by other cars Do you think our E60 look that good that people lose focus driving??? just adding a little humor.
Sorry about your baby! I feel your pain

- glad the wife's ok
- kudos to her for having the wits to get the civic's license plate
- to whoever was driving the civic: you suck. taking off after causing an accident?
- get that baby fixed!

Excellent job by your bride. Sorry about your baby, but like all fine machines, baby can be repaired to look as good as new. To the guy/gal who slammed into you, a little sugar in their gas tank..... just.... might be appropiate for leaving after hitting you. good luck to you SFBimmer..
