Direct line jas, they paid out for my accident, decided to stay with them for another year as i couldn't get it any lower.

Guys thats exactty what I thought did some googling and like I said it seems to depend with different companies, some accept it some dont for example called churchill and LVE today and both said factory options are to be declared or incase of claim they will only give standard spec of car e.g. m sport basic. Stupid yes I know but declaring it didnt make a differnce to premium but its peace of mind.

Insurance companies are very strange

I would never go with LVE anyway they quoted me £1500 and im nearly 38.
