Its actually not as orangy as it looks. Aurburn has that warm and inviting color.

Thanks guys for all the valuable replies ! I will order Monaco blue (new MY06 color for 5er) and Auburn. Jury still out on the Comfort seats, leaning that way, I do like the firmness of the Sportseats in my 2003 E39 Sport.

Where can I see what Monaco blue looks like? Is it closer to Mystic or Orient?

I took delivery of a Monaco Blue Auburn 550 in November. It looks spectacular. Very upscale. I also opted for the antricite headliner, and I highly recommend it for this color combination.

I can't tell you haw many people have commented on how beautiful this combination it. I know that I am biased, but I think it is the best color combination available for the E60. Once the weather breaks, I plan on posting photos. Until then, take my word for it, you'll love it.

Good Luck with your decision!

It sounds unanimous with the Auburn interior. I got Monaco/Auburn and the compliments have not stopped. Ditto above, it's so distinctive -- not just among BMW interiors but any new mass-market car. I ordered the Auburn on blind faith that it would look good, and after some skepticism about it being too orange-looking in photos, I was convinced by the other owners.

Enjoy!

I have Jet Black on Black and think it's awesome.

Though I haven't seen it in person Blue/Auburn seems like it would be a great combo.

Ya Gotta Love It!!

RE: Munich p/up
That seems like the best deal in the world. I wish I had time for that. Have fun!
