Yep me too.
I don't recall it happening on my E39. 
Perhaps an Idrive update will sort it

[/quote]Yep.. it happens to me too... but I just wipe it off... that reminds me, I am starting to get small smudges on the nice black leather... any suggestions to clean them? Also, on the inside of the doors, it kinda gets dirty when I get out of the car (my shoes keep hitting it... gotta be more careful!!!)... any suggestions to clean those?
