My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.

I would do the 550. Turbos are notorious for problems.

It seems like it is a pretty even split.....
In going with the 535i and then putting in the Procede piggy back unit, I am gaining all the power without all the weight.

alright i havent read any of the input any of the users have put in but your question. and my minds made up already. hands down the 535. why? GAS!!!!!! do ourself a favor and your wife and your piggy bank a favor. and plus i like the drive and feel of a 6 more then an 8. im just a 6 guy

535 better on gas more tunning potetial. the v8 sounds amazing though... puttin my ehxaust on tom so well c how she'll sound
