Okay, so my headlight switch continues to blink, why is that?

It's possible i haven't noticed this before, but now that i have it, it drives me nuts! Sometimes i lean a bit to the left and the blinking of the green light bugs the crap outta me! Lol, now i can see it in the reflection of the wood along the door handle!!! I'm not completely positive that it does it all the time, i suppose when it doesn't do it, i don't perseverate on it...BUT when it does....it's bothersome to say the least.

so, does everyone's e60 headlight switch blink??? thanks fellas.

It means theres a fault. Most likely the Adaptive headlight failure.

No blinking here. As I recall the blinking indicates a fault with the Auto headlights, either the auto on/off or the adaptive feature...

I type too slow! Got beat to the punch.

Yep.

Happened on mine too.

Go to your dealer and he will replace the broken headlight.
After that the blinking is gone.
