My Ride: 530d M Sport Lci

Maybe in my father in laws 645i the computer has a celeron, as he took it for an oil service Stephen James Enfield (sorry naming and shaming). When he go t back the dash was saying that the car needed oil. When I came to look at it, as he told me there seems to be a problem, I checked the idrive which said it was fine, i told him it was probably a glitch, the following day it came up again. So we checked the dip stick which showed bone dry.
I did question that this was not possible as the idrive was saying its fine, and you have just brought it back from the dealer
Anyway he took it back, where they had confirmed what the dip stick says. There was vertually no oil, they actually forgot to put enough in.
How the engine survived is a mystery
