I might be missing the point here but if the car is a non lesser and your paying for the servicing yourself would you service a car earlier that whats recommended? I agree if you have a service pack or your loving leasing company pay for the servicing then why not.. But i work for BMW and we only service our leased cars 1000 miles prior to the service being due.

It might be helpful to tell us where you're located. In the US, BMWNA controls the dealers (to some extent), and here we all have bought into (literally) the BMWNA/BMW Full Maintenance program.
