Default Oil level reset

Hello everyone,

i have a small question i would like some clearing up on.
if you use the indicator stalks BC or Check button and hold it, it should reset the oil level sensor right? so when you fill/ top it off with oil you can tell the car it has full oil.
However, (if my previous statement is correct) if you press and hold it without filling oil, does it measure assuming it is full or does it get the actual oil level?

Some context: i tried to measure my oil consumption, but i resetted the oil level sensor using the button, and now i dont know if my measured is still accurate.

Thank you!

To reset the oil interval, you use the trip meter reset button. Oil reset does not affect the oil level measurement. It just resets the oil change interval.
