just came back from dealer. funny thing is the warning disappeared when i arrived the dealer . anyway my service advisor checked and (yes, not the tech) just added a quart of castrol oil. and no gas fill up for me .

 

The only gas fill up I got since delivery was with the emission recall. I had to bang on them about that one, but the bulletin called for it as a gesture from BMW NA for your trouble.

 

What! I didn't get no stinkin' tank of gas for my emission recall! I got screwed.

 

How are we supposed to know the bulletin calls for a free tank of gas? If we don't know about it, we can't fight for it. Your free gas probably went into the sales manager's car!

 

i only got it twice. first was when i picked up my car. second was when they screwed up my order and charged me more than they promised .

 

AHhhhhhh No wonder... So with the BMW emissions recall they fill up the tank... no wonder last time I took my other car in they ran it down to red for me and didnt even fill it up.

I didnt fill it up before cuz i was hoping for free gas too LOL, since I got it with the emissions recall...

 

i also did the emission recall few months back but they didn't fill up for me .
